The mission of Discovery Place Early Learning Center is to develop a positive, nurturing, and challenging teaching /learning environment that enables each child to develop their intellectual, physical, social and emotional potential.
Philosophy
- We believe in caring for our students in a respectful manner by encouraging choices and providing their individual independence while ensuring their safety.
- We believe communication is vital at every level in a childcare organization, from the students, families, all staff, to the director. We promote a culture which fosters accountability, mutual respect, and ownership in one’s tasks and accomplishments.

Meet the Director:
Hello, I’m Chelsea Moeller the Director of Discovery Place. I have my Degree in Early Childhood Education and Paraprofessional. I have over ten years’ experience working in childcare. As a young child I too attended Discovery Place. I’m so happy to be a part of this family and to be able to help grow our amazing program. Discovery Place is a great place work and to be able to watch my own child grow every day. I’m very lucky for that.
I’m very passionate that our programs provide a warm and nurturing environment. We want to give your children the room to grow and learn by giving them the ability to learn through play in a safe place that feels like home.
